General Soleimani grew in Imam Khomeini’s school of thought: Iraqi cleric

Gonbad Kavous, IRNA – Sheikh Khalid Abdul Wahab Al-Mulla, Head of the Iraqi Ulama Association in Iraq, has underscored that the grand commander of Islam (Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani) was grown in the school of thought of late Imam Khomeini.

Addressing a conference on approximation and Islamic resistance in Martyr Soleimani school of thought, the Iraqi sheikh said on Sunday night that the great martyr showed steadfastness in promoting and enhancing Islamic unity, because he was not only an Iranian but also he was a representative of Islam, who learned his lessons in late Imam Khomeini’s school of thought.

Although, Martyr Soleimani was aware that the United States and the then US president Donald Trump decided to assassinate him, he continued to have an active presence in resistance fronts in Syria and Iraq, the scholar added.

The US fired missiles to assassinate General Soleimani and Member of the Council of Representatives of Iraq Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in Baghdad, but their martyrdom is a sign for all Muslims that the Islamic nations should take lessons and stand against enemies, he argued.

Al-Mulla also warned that the foes attempt to pursue soft war against the Islamic nations; so, they insult various Islamic sanctities and figures; so, Muslims are expected to train their children to observe Islamic values.

The Iranian nation enjoys a very important blessing, which is unity and solidarity among tribes and religions under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei; therefore, the nation should be thankful for such a leadership.

For his part, Iranian cleric Abdolbaset Norizad emphasized that the Iranian people are grateful for unity and martyrs such as General Soleimani, and they ready to implement decrees of the Supreme Leader.

Gonbad Kavous is located in eastern Golestan province. The city’s population has been declared 411k people.
