German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Visits International Falcon Breeders Auction

Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Michael Kindsgrab paid a visit to the International Falcon Breeders Auction.

Organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, the event, which lasts until August 24, is held at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, and brings together breeding farms from 16 countries.

The ambassador was received by the club’s Deputy CEO Ahmed Al-Hababi.

The ambassador toured the exhibitions and pavilions accompanying the auction, including the German, and was briefed on the types of falcons, the breeding process, and the club’s efforts to preserve the ancient legacy of falconry.

The auction, the largest of its kind in the world, brings together elite breeds of falcons produced and enables falconers and falcon breeders to meet annually.
