Emphasising the government’s serious will to promote production in the country, the President said, “Today, the country’s main priority is production, and the government’s main aim is to support production and producers”.
Speaking in Kordabad village of Kabudarahang county on Thursday during the visit to Hamedan province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed his satisfaction for meeting with the people of this village, and said, “Today, the most important solution is to boost the national economy and overcome the economic problems of production. This means that anyone who tries to develop production in the country has given hope to the people and disappointed the enemy”.
The President stated that the ill-wishers of the country do not want our production and national economy to prosper, and added, “Today, the responsibility of all of us is to use all the capacities in the country in various fields, including in the field of human resources, to strengthen production enterprises and increase knowledge-based production”.
Regarding the country’s tax system, Dr Raisi considered it among the prerequisites for the realisation of the country’s goals and priorities in the field of economy, and emphasising the 13th government’s trust in businesses and guilds in the field of taxation, he said, “The issue of taxes is a legal duty for the government and economic actors, but it is definitely important for the government in the field of business and producers’ statements”.
Ayatollah Raisi emphasised that taxes should be fair and said, “At the same time, our tax system should be reorganised in such a way that tax evasion is minimised”.
In another part of his speech, referring to the points raised by the people regarding rural roads, the President emphasised on solving the problem of accident-prone roads in the country and clarified, “The roads that are known as accident-prone areas are the priority for repair”.
The President emphasised, “We cannot solve all the problems and issues of Hamadan province during this trip, but we will follow up on the main priorities and issues”.
During his visit to Kordabad village, Dr Raisi met and talked with the families of the martyrs of this village.
The President also visited a number of production units of this village and was closely informed about the issues and proposals of the producers.
