Grand Mosque Imam Meets with Heads of Islamic Associations in South Africa

Grand Mosque imam and preacher Sheikh Dr. Yasser Al-Dosari, on a visit to South Africa, met here yesterday with heads of several Islamic associations, scholars, preachers, and students.

This visit is part of a program organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, which arranges visits for the imams of the two holy mosques to various countries.

Al-Dosari talked about the virtues of Islamic teachings and ethics, and about Saudi Arabia’s efforts to serve Islam and Muslims, spread moderation and tolerance, and foster peaceful coexistence among nations and peoples.

He also stressed the need for Muslims to embody the true message of Islam and disseminate its genuine teachings through their actions, lofty morals and kind treatment of others.

He also highlighted the crucial role of Islamic associations in protecting Muslim youth from radicalism and extremism, and educating them about their religion.
