Greek president congratulates Raisi on taking office

Tehran, IRNA- President of Greece Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Monday extended congratulations to Iran’s new president Ebrahim Raisi as he was sworn into office.

“I am confident that we will pursue to seek to advance bilateral relations for the benefit of our people, as well as stability, security, and prosperity beyond the region,” she said in her message.

Ebrahim Raisi was sworn in as new president of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday at an inauguration ceremony held at Majlis (the Iranian Parliament).
