Health Minister Inspects Readiness of Health Sector in the Holy Sites

Makkah, The Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, continued his comprehensive inspection tours of the health sector services in the holy sites and visited several medical facilities to ensure their preparations and equipment are complete to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season 1445 AH.

He visited King Abdulaziz Hospital, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Al-Noor Specialist Hospital, King Abdullah Medical City, National Guard Medical Services, and Ministry of Interior Medical Services. He also visited the urgent care track, one of the modern health care model’s tracks, the private sector pharmacies track, Mina Al-Jisr Hospital, Mina Al-Sharaa Al-Jadeed Hospital, and several health centres to learn about the health system services.

The minister of health stressed the need to do everything possible to provide the best health care to pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season, affirming that medical teams are ready to serve pilgrims in a manner that reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s status and
hospitality.

He urged medical professionals and staff in these facilities to identify and meet pilgrims’ needs, emphasising the importance of quality services to them.
