Health Ministry Transfers Hospitalized Pilgrims from Jeddah Hospitals to Arafat Hospitals

Makkah, The Ministry of Health transferred hospitalized patients today from hospitals in Jeddah to Jabal Al-Rahma Hospital to continue their treatment and enable them to perform Hajj rituals under comprehensive medical and therapeutic care.

This transfer was per the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ government.

The Ministry of Health indicated that the number of patients transferred to the holy sites reached six.

Five cases out of the six were transferred by ambulance, and the sixth case was transported by air ambulance in collaboration with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA).

The ministry also noted that all procedures for transporting hospitalized pilgrims were coordinated with all health sectors to facilitate their movement to the holy sites under the supervision and organization of the Directorate of Health Affairs in Jeddah.

It stated that the convoy consisted of nine fully equipped ambulances, accompanied by a comprehensive medical team comprising 24 medical and technical st
aff and three support teams.

Additionally, the ministry noted that all necessary supplies required by the patients during transportation were secured.
