Mina: The Ministry of Health started transporting 23 critically sick pilgrims under medical care from Madinah to Jabal al-Rahma Hospital in Arafat today.

The pilgrims of different nationalities were previously hospitalized in Madinah and Jeddah. They will now be transported in ambulances under doctors’ supervision to the holy places to complete the Hajj rituals. Their treatment will continue at Jabal Al-Rahma Hospital in Arafat.

The pilgrims will remain at Jabal Al-Rahma Hospital until Friday in preparation for the Day of Arafah on Saturday. After sunset on the Day of Arafah, they will be transported by ambulance to Mina, near the Grand Mosque.

The Ministry of Health coordinated this critical care transport with various healthcare entities. This collaborative effort involved the Saudi Red Crescent, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Hospital (National Guard), Prince Sultan Hospital (Armed Forces), and private health sector hospitals.
