Holy Makkah Municipality Achieves Unprecedented Milestones in Serving Pilgrims Via Diverse Services

Makkah, The Holy Makkah Municipality has strived throughout the holy sites to serve pilgrims with its enhanced mechanical and human resources.

It has worked on improving its services to create a safe and comfortable environment, making Hajj a memorable spiritual experience for pilgrims. This effort has culminated in the municipality achieving unprecedented numbers in its operations and services during the Hajj season of 1445 AH across various fields.

The municipality issued 180 seasonal permits, 23 excavation permits, and 89 permits for sacrificial slaughter.

It also recorded 88 violations related to negative phenomena such as excavations and buildings. Moreover, it conducted 69 visits for monitoring visual littering, 399 for excavation, and 27 for markets.

The number of visits to monitor health inspections on catering kitchens reached 1,610 for 420 kitchens, and there were 140 health inspection visits. Furthermore, the municipality managed 755 various reports.
