Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour on Monday witnessed the signing of an agreement between the International Branch of Cairo University (IBCU) and the University of East London (UEL), in the field of economics, finance and digital marketing, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
Ashour stressed that this cooperation comes as a deepening of the strong cooperation relations between Egyptian universities and the University of East London, pointing to the fruitful agreements and protocols that the University of East London signed with many Egyptian universities, including (Alexandria National University, New Mansoura University, and National Mansoura University); to provide dual degrees, he pointed out that the University of East London is distinguished by its focus on supporting students’ talents and providing them with the necessary capabilities to face the challenges of the labor market.
The Minister stressed the follow-up of the Ministry’s policy o
f paying great attention to the internationalization of the Egyptian higher education system, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, expanding international partnerships with institutions with a distinguished reputation globally, elevating international educational institutions to the ranks of their international counterparts, and making Egypt a destination for providing educational services in the Arab region and the African continent.
