Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Reserve to Take Part in 8th Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition

The Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority will take part in the 8th Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, to be held in Qatar from September 10 to 14.

The authority aims to foster a sustainable hunting culture and highlight its expertise in the Shamal Reserve for Sustainable Hunting (SRFSH), the first of its kind in the Kingdom, as well as its efforts to boost the game population in its natural habitat, protect biodiversity, and preserve traditional hunting methods, all according to environmental sustainability standards.

SRFSH is located within the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve; it extends over an area of 2,000 square kilometers. It seeks to attract hunting enthusiasts from the Kingdom and the Gulf states by offering comprehensive services and a unique hunting experience in a picturesque landscape.

Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Reserve is the second largest royal reserve in the Kingdom, covering an area of 91,500 square kilometers. It is home to over
162 species of wildlife and over 179 plant species. It boasts unique environmental diversity and many historical and archaeological landmarks.
