IMCTC Announces Arrival of Recently Assigned Delegate of Morocco

The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) announced today the arrival of the recently assigned delegate of the Kingdom of Morocco, Colonel Hassan Dakech, to the coalition’s headquarters.

IMCTC Secretary General, Major General Pilot Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, stated that the arrival of the Moroccan delegate to the coalition’s headquarters, and his work alongside his colleagues from other member states, is a commendable step by the leadership of the Kingdom of Morocco. This reflects Morocco’s recognition of the importance of international participation in all efforts to combat terrorism and reject violent extremism. Major General Al-Moghedi added that Morocco spares no effort in its fight against terrorism and in eradicating it, as evidenced by the tangible results that have been praised by the international community. Morocco’s approach serves as a model in a comprehensive and multi-dimensional strategy to address this global threat, including its participation in international alliances,
the establishment of specialized training centers, and its comprehensive counter-terrorism strategy.

At the conclusion of the reception, Major General Al-Moghedi welcomed the Moroccan delegate and wished him success in his tenure. He also highlighted the significant role entrusted to the delegates of member states in serving the coalition and its strategic initiatives in combating terrorism.

IMCTC comprises 42 member states, working together to coordinate, unify, and support intellectual, media, counter-terrorism financing, and military efforts with a high degree of efficiency and effectiveness, in partnership with friendly countries and international organizations to combat terrorism.
