IMSIU’s High Judicial Institute Hosts Training for Malaysian Judges

The High Judicial Institute at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) is organizing a specialized course in Sharia law. The course, which will be held September 1 to 12 at the university’s campus in Riyadh, is aimed at a group of judges from Malaysia.

The objective is to equip the trainees with knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence and judicial systems. The course will also address prominent issues in financial, banking, and personal status matters, including the application of legal rulings to real-life judicial scenarios, and a study of both procedural and substantive aspects of the law.

Key topics covered in the course include inheritance and estate matters from a judicial, jurisprudential, and regulatory perspective, including a comparative study of contemporary issues.

The course will also examine financial, banking, and accounting transactions from both a jurisprudential and judicial standpoint, emphasizing the jurisprudence of contemporary issues, their origins, and their application and
comparison.
