Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research Assigns over 50 Researchers, 400 Data Collectors During Hajj Season

Makkah: June 4, 2024, SPA – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al-Qura University has assigned more than 50 researchers and 400 data collectors for this year’s Hajj season. Their task is to analyze and conduct studies in fields such as technology and artificial intelligence, crowd management, urban planning, environment, health, and other areas covered by 29 studies the institute is working on this season.

Dean of the Institute Dr. Adnan Al-Shahrani stressed the role of research and scientific studies in achieving the best and highest quality results. He highlighted the institute’s journey in providing research and studies during the Hajj season, referring to researchers’ participation in various activities throughout the Hajj season.
