The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in Najaf arrested a murderer who killed two victims.
The Agency indicated in a press statement that “its detachments received information related to the accident of a vehicle turning over, and inside it were the bodies of two unidentified persons who were shot.”
It added, “An intelligence team was formed with the Najaf Police Command, during which it was able to seize the vehicle, inside which grenades, narcotic substances and sums of money were found.”
It continued, “One hour after the crime was committed, our intelligence team was able to arrest the perpetrator and seize the crime weapon. His statements were recorded in a judicial manner, and the evidence was revealed and it came in conformity with the criminal’s confessions, and the investigating judge decided to arrest him in accordance with Article 406 of premeditated murder.”
