Tehran, IRNA – Lalini Veerassamy has officially been accredited as the representative of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the Islamic Republic of Iran after presenting her letter of credentials to the Iranian Foreign Minister, officially taking up her post in the country.

The handover was conducted on January 30 at the Foreign Ministry Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran, during a ceremony.

Veerassamy met and submitted a copy of her credentials to Amirabdollahian.
