Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met and held talks with his Armenian counterpart, and the two sides discussed bilateral ties.
Hossein Amirabdollahian and Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during their meeting in Tehran on Monday.
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan arrived in Tehran on Monday for a working trip to meet senior Iranian officials.
Bilateral talks and opinion exchange on the most important issues in the region are on the agenda for Mirzoyan’s two-day trip to Iran.
Referring to the Monday visit of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to Tehran, the Spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in his weekly press briefing on Monday that the visit had already been scheduled and took place in line with widening of bilateral relations.
