Iran deputy FM holds talks with top Omani diplomat

The Iranian deputy foreign minister stressed the new administration’s policy of more interaction with neighbors, calling relations with Oman friendly and exemplary.

The Omani foreign minister also said relations between the two neighboring countries are based on trust and described the Islamic Republic of Iran as a pivotal country in the region.

During his trip, Bagheri also held consultations with his Omani counterpart Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy.

Bilateral relations and ways to promote ties in all sectors, especially in the economic field, were also discussed in these meetings.
