Iran FM spox strongly condemns sacrilege of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Tuesday strongly condemned the sacrilege of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the cabinet minister of Israel’s illegitimate and racist regime.

In reaction to the sacrilege of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Kanaani said that Beit-ul-Moqaddas is an integrated and eternal capital of Palestine and any sacrilege of Palestinian holy sites constitutes a violation of international regulations and is an insult to the values and sanctities of Muslims around the world and will be faced with reaction from Muslim nations.

While appreciating the resistance of the Palestinian people, he warned of the adventures and provocative attempts of the new cabinet of the usurped Zionist regime.

Emphasizing the cause of the liberation of Palestine and The Holy Quds as the priority of the Islamic world, Kanaani noted that it is the duty of all the freedom-seekers of the world, especially the nations and governments of Islamic countries, to defend Beit-ul-Moqaddas and called for countering the aggression of the occupied Zionist regime in a unified way.

He called on international organizations, including the United Nations, to perform their legal duty in this regard and to prevent the Zionist regime’s brutal aggression against the Palestinians and Muslim sanctities.
