Tehran, IRNA – Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF) and the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the OIC (COMSTECH) have agreed to launch a joint young scientists scholarship program.
MSTF and COMSTECH signed an agreement on Sunday to foster the young generation and create capacities in science, technology and innovation.
The two organizations will launch a program with the collaboration of scientific institutes and companies in the Islamic countries to fund young scientists.
The fund will support under-45 scientists and researchers with a master’s degree who seek interest in short-term scholarship.
50 percent of the fund will be allocated to women.
