Iran holds second int’l Caspian horse evaluation course

Karaj, IRNA – The CEO of Caspian Conservation Society (CCS) said that it held the second international course of Caspian horse evaluation as a webinar on Saturday.

Over 30 breeders, experts, and enthusiasts of Caspian horse from Australia, Bermuda, Canada, France, Iran, Norway, Sweden, Spain, UK, and US took part in the webinar, Mohammad-Javad Dehqan told IRNA on Sunday.

Mrs. Ateshe Larsson-Firouz, International Caspian Horse Society Patron, and Mrs. Elizabeth Webster, an international Caspian horse evaluator, gave lectures in the webinar, according to Dehqan.

As evaluation is the main part in the international registration of foundation stock Caspian horses, Dehqan advised breeders to get acquainted with the topic to be able to select the mare and the stallion correctly.

Alborz Province, located in the west of Tehran, is a hub of horse breeding in Iran. CCS is based in Kordan in Savojbolagh County, Alborz Province.
