Iran humanitarian aid delivered to Afghanistan

Tehran, IRNA – The spokesman of Taliban said on Thursday that Afghanistan received Iran’s humanitarian aid to the quake-stricken people.

Zabihullah Mujahid announced Iran’s humanitarian aid arrived in Afghanistan via two airplanes.

Secretary-General of Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Ya’qoub Soleimani had already said that Iran’s aid cargo includes foodstuff, moquette, and tents.

A strong earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale rocked the vicinity of the city of Khost in southeast of Afghanistan.

According to the Afghan officials, 920 have been killed and 620 others have been wounded.
