Tehran, Arab analyst said that Iran is a regional power and the fight against normalization with the Zionist regime should continue.
Lamis Andoni, a commentator on Middle Eastern and Palestinian affairs, said in an opinion published on Alarby al-Jadeed news website that not everything that the United States wants can be achieved, referring to US President Joe Biden’s recent Middle East tour and his efforts to normalize the ties between Arab nations and the Zionist regime.
Andoni highlighted the joint strategic declaration signed by Biden and the Zionist regime’s prime minister and Biden’s endeavor to form a coalition in the Middle East and said that these didn’t mean a certain victory for the US.
She argued that the Zionist regime was pushing the US into military wars that Washington couldn’t fight.
The declaration is aimed at defining Iran as a strategic enemy instead of the Zionist regime to ensure the regime’s superiority and to link Arab countries to the Zionist regime’s security situation, according to Andoni.
The analyst also noted that all of Biden’s measures, from the moment of his inauguration, which was focused on deepening and expanding Arab-Israeli normalization, were a prelude to declaring the approach of the US and the Zionist regime to the region.
Wahington does not want any Arab-Arab agreements or Arab alliances with any other country to harm the Zionist regime’s status in the region, meaning that the era of false American recognition of the independence and sovereignty of Arab countries has ended, she said.
Andoni said that Biden began his tour from the occupied Palestine to send the message to Arab governments that their leadership center was in Tel Aviv and they had no way but to surrender.
Biden’s declaration that he is a Zionist, although not for the first time, was a clear message to the Arab world that there is no place for Arab national security or Palestinian rights, and that whoever does not agree to the conditions becomes the enemy of the Zionist regime, according to the analyst.
The US is treating Iran as a regional power and working to contain it which is the opposite of its view of the Arab world, which in Washington’s eyes has become gelatinous entities that are easy to dismantle in preparation to defeat them, she maintained.
She opined that the US and the Zionist regime wanted to remove the Palestinian cause so that there wouldn’t remain any talk of it neither in Arab and Islamic countries nor in the international community. However, she added, it was not possible thanks to the continued resistance and steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
The resistance is not terrorism, but the US wants to criminalize the idea of resistance. Resistance is an idea, so we preserve it; there is no alternative to resistance, she concluded.
