Tehran, IRNA – An Iranian parliamentary delegation to Syria met with Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad in the capital city of Damascus on Wednesday, according to Syria’s Al-Watan daily newspaper.

The Iranian parliamentary delegation arrived in Syria earlier today.

The visit to Syria by the Iranian delegation is aimed at examining the process of providing aid to the quake-stricken people in the country and implementing the already-signed agreements between Iran and Syria.
