Iran president condoles with Afghan people, gov’t on martyrdom of people in terrorist attack

Tehran, IRNA – President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi on Saturday expressed condolences over the martyrdom of at least 50 people in Afghanistan during the recent terrorist attack.

Iranian President has condemned the attack in Kunduz, saying the heinous crime was carried out with US support.

The crime that was committed with the aim of sowing division among Muslims was carried out by those whose anti-human and anti-religious nature is obvious to everyone, he noted.

Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh has denounced the terrorist act.

He has expressed his sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded people.

A bomb blast near a Shia mosque in Kunduz has killed over 50 people and injured many more so far, sources have reported.
