Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, in a message on Sunday, congratulated the Qatari Emir and people on the country’s national day.

In his message to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Iranian president wished health and success for the Emir and prosperity for the Qatari nation.

President Raisi expressed hope that in the light of religious and cultural common grounds, the two countries will witness further cooperation in different politico-economic and cultural areas as well as increased international and regional cooperation to help promote peace and stability.
