Iran president leaves Astana for Tehran

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi left Kazakhstan’s capital for Tehran after he attended the 6th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Speaking at the summit meeting, the Iranian president briefed the participants on Iran’s stands on different regional issues.

During his short stay in Astana, Raisi had separate meetings with the Qatari emir and the president of Azerbaijan.

CICA is comprised of different countries including Iran, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, South Korea, China, Russia, India, Palestine, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan Republic, and Thailand.
