Iran-Russia Partnership Treaty to Benefit Entire Region Armenia


Yerevan: Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has stated that a newly signed comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Tehran and Moscow will benefit all countries in the region. Mirzoyan made these remarks during a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, on Tuesday.



According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the agreement, which was signed during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s recent visit to Moscow on January 17. He highlighted Armenia’s strong relations with Iran, based on good neighborliness and partnership, suggesting that this new accord could enhance regional cooperation.



Following the partnership agreement’s signing, President Pezeshkian noted that the cooperation between Iran and Russia is mutually advantageous. He outlined that the agreement provides a roadmap for both nations to pursue their interactions effectively within this framework, signifying both nations’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
