Ahvaz, IRNA- Iran has become self-sufficient in producing freight wagons, said an official on Tuesday.
Since 2020, Iran has achieved complete self-sufficiency in producing freight wagons, Mohammad-Hadi Ziaie-Mehr pointed out.
Iran has done so with the participation of the private sector, knowledge-based companies, elites as well as local experts, he further noted.
Locomotive production is highly complicated industry, he said, noting that the share of domestic production in the industry has increased from 60 to 80 percent.
