Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, said on Wednesday that he had constructive talks with his Russian counterpart during their meeting in Moscow.
Kazemi Qomi made the comment on his twitter page after the meeting that took place on Wednesday in the Russian capital.
He posted the tweet in Persian. The English translation is as follow:
“Today in Moscow, I had constructive talks with the Russian special representative for Afghanistan. Regional cooperation, efforts to improve sustainable peace and fighting terrorism were on the agenda of the talks. Iran along with its neighboring countries backs a safe and developed Afghanistan.”
