Iran, Syria discuss development of transportation cooperation

Tehran, IRNA – Syrian Minister of Transport, Zuhair Khazim, and a number of Iranian companies reviewed ways to develop land and air transportation to conquer the West’s unilateral sanctions against Syrian people.

Such cooperation is important for foiling the sanctions, Khazim said in the meeting held in Damascus, according to Syrian media on Thursday.

The Syrian minister also called for setting framework for Damascus-Tehran relations in land and air transportation.

Islamic Republic of Iran has already expressed readiness for reconstruction and repair of historical sites in Syria.

About 11 years ago, Syrian was involved in a crisis under the support of certain Arab and Western countries and the Zionist regime of Israel.
