Iran takes legal action against U.S over grounded ATRs: CAO head

Tehran, IRNA – Head of Civil Aviation Organization (CAO), Mohammad Mohammadi-Bakhsh, said here on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran has taken legal action against the US over the 10 grounded ATR regarding the lack of supply of parts for its aircraft.

Mohammad Mohammadi-Bakhsh told IRNA on the sidelines of his joint meeting with airlines that in the recent ICAO audit of Iran, this issue (10 grounded ATR) we announced this issue as an official complaint against the US.

Head of Civil Aviation Organization in his remarks added that in the UN Special Rapporteur’s visit to Iran, “we announced the US sanctions in the joint meeting and now Iran taken legal action as an official complaint against the United States that the continuation of these behaviors is against the ICAO rules”.
