Iran-Tanzania business forum kicks off

Dar es Salaam, IRNA – A joint meeting of economic and trade activists from Iran and Tanzania began in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Economic experts and activists from Iran and Tanzania attend the economic joint meeting, and it is scheduled to be lectured by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in this meeting.

Hossein Amirabdollahian who arrived in Mali’s capital city on Tuesday morning made the remarks in a joint press conference with his Malian counterpart Abdoulaye Diop, adding, “The African continent has special importance for the Islamic Republic of Iran and President Ebrahim Raisi, too, gives priority to having strong ties with the African countries, such as the historical country of Mali, which is especially important for us.”

The foreign minister emphasized that Iran favors having broader economic ties with Mali, relying on round-the-clock efforts of the Iranian and Malian groups of technicians, who are surveying different issues aimed at finding the best fields for bilateral cooperation.

He said that Iran has a clear roadmap for bilateral relations, and this makes his diplomatic responsibility more difficult, and that of his colleagues in Tehran will contribute to fast broadening of bilateral relations.
