Iran weightlifter scoops 3 gold medals in Tashkent

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian weightlifter Taha Nemati in the weight category of +102kg received three gold medals in Asian Championships, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Iranian team consisting of 11 athletes attended the event.

Six weightlifters from Syria, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia participated in the +102 category.

The event will be underway until July 25.
