Iranian delegation leaves for Tashkent to supervise Uzbekistan election

Tehran, IRNA – An Iranian parliamentary delegation left Tehran for Tashkent on Friday to supervise Uzbekistan’s presidential election.

Gholamreza Nouri Ghezelje, the head of Iran-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, and Ahmad Alirezabeigi, a member of Majlis (Parliament) Domestic Affairs and Councils Commission, travel to Uzbekistan upon an invitation by the country’s head of central commission for elections to supervise the event.

The Iranian delegation carries an invitation message of Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf for his Uzbek counterpart Nurdinjon Ismoilov.
