Tehran, IRNA – Iranian film “Ballad of white cow” won Pilar Miro Prize at 2021 Valladolid International Film Festival.
Pilar Miro Prize, which is named after a late Spanish screenwriter, is awarded to directors whose films are selected the best film among those who have participated in the festival with their first or second films.
“Ballad of white cow”, co-directed by Behtash Sanaeiha and Maryam Moqaddam, is the story of a 35-year-old woman’s life which is turned upside down when she learns that her husband was innocent of the crime for which he was executed.
