Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian hosted his Irish counterpart Simon Coveney here on Monday.

The meeting was held at Amirabdollahian’s office in Tehran.

As the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Saeed Khatibzadeh announced at his weekly press briefing this morning, Coveney will meet with the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi later in the day.

Irish foreign minister visited Iran about a year ago as well.
