Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Thursday that forming refugees organization is on the agenda of the government.
The president made the remarks in a meeting with a number of Iranian lawmakers who represent the provinces of Fars, Kohkilouyeh and Boyerahmad and Bushehr in Majlis (the Iranian Parliament).
Referring to the large number of Afghan refugees living in different parts of Iran, the Fars Province in particular, Raisi said that in an earlier visit to Yazd Province, he had stressed the need to devise a mechanism to address the issues of millions of Afghan refugees residing in Iran and the nationals from other countries.
