Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian commented on the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, saying: We will make the terrorist occupiers regret this cowardly act.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that the Iranian President said in a statement, Today, dear Iran mourns its partner in sorrows and joys, the permanent and honorable companion of the resistance path, the brave leader of the Palestinian resistance, the martyr of Al-Quds, Hajj Ismail Haniyeh, and yesterday I raised his victorious hand, and today I have to bear him on my shoulder.
The Iranian President added: Iran will defend the integrity of its lands and honor and will make the terrorist invaders regret their cowardly acts.
