Iranian, Russian Presidents urge coordination to meet ASAP

Tehran, IRNA- Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raeisi called for coordination between the two presidents to meet in the near future.

Putin made a phone call to the Iranian counterpart Raisi on Tuesday.

During the talk, he informed that he had been quarantined for the possibility of contracting the coronavirus.

Touching on Moscow-Tehran cooperation in the fight against coronavirus and the joint production of the Sputnik V vaccine in Iran, Putin called for the continuation of the mutual cooperation.

Raisi, for his part, said that “we are pursuing the development and deepening of cooperation between the two states in all areas.”

Raisi also called for further mutual cooperation in the fight against Covid-19 and joint vaccine production, noting that “this cooperation should continue vigorously until this pandemic is totally eradicated.”
