Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian has hosted Tajikistan’s Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma for talks on joint ventures between the two countries.
They met on Wednesday, a day ahead of the 13th Governing Board Meeting of the Regional Center on Urban Water Management under the auspices of the UN’s cultural agency, UNESCO.
On the sidelines of the talks with his Tajik counterpart, the Iranian minister talked about the Thursday meeting as well.
Mehrabian expressed hope that the meeting would provide an opportunity for further development of ties among member states.
The Tajik minister also hailed Iran’s achievements in urban water management, saying that other countries can use Iran’s experiences in this regard.
