Iranian taxi driver returns money left in his car to owner

Kermanshah, IRNA – An Iranian taxi driver has returned a sum of money left in his car, drawing appreciation from officials in his city Kermanshah, the capital of Kermanshah Province, western Iran.

Amir Arsalan Faramarzi found 150 million rials left by a passenger in his car. The amount nearly equaled his income in a month.

He made lots of efforts to find the passenger who received the money in full, with Faramarzi expecting nothing in return.

Now on Thursday, officials in Kermanshah held in ceremony to appreciate the driver for his honesty and trustworthiness.

Kermanshah is the largest Kurdish-speaking city in Iran and has a population of one million.
