Tehran, IRNA – For the first time in Iran’s weightlifting field, an Iranian joined Tokyo Olympics jury to judge weightlifting competitions.
Iran Weightlifting Federation announced on Saturday that the entity’s president Ali Moradi was going to judge T
tokyo Olympics weightlifting competitions in several categories.
This is for the first time in the history of weightlifting in Iran that an Iranian joins Olympics jury.
Iran is represented by two weightlifting athletes, Ali Hashemi and Ali Davoudi, in Tokyo games.
Iran’s representative in women’s competitions, Parisa Javanfekrian, failed to attend Olympics because of injury.
