Tehran, IRNA – Ali Bagheri Kani, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs on Thursday met with Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi in Muscat.
Bagheri Kani held talks with the top Omani diplomat hours after he arrived in the capital Muscat earlier on Thursday.
They discussed relations between the two countries, as well as regional and international developments.
Bagheri Kani said that Iran and Oman have mutual political trust, calling it a precious asset that the two sides are determined to use to further deepen their cooperation.
Albusaidi referred to the trip to Oman by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in May 2022 and said that the implementation of agreements reached in that trip is of key importance.
