Iran’s embassy in Bulgaria ready to hold presidential elections

– Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bulgaria has in a statement announced its full readiness for holding the 13th presidential elections at the Iranian Embassy in the Bulgarian capital city, Sofia.

It properly informed the Iranians living in Bulgaria about the voting possibility in Sofia at the embassy.

The voting will begin at 8 am, Friday June 18, 2021 and will continue till 6 pm, amid observing full health protocols.

However, the closing time of polling can be extended if needed.

The needed document for voting is either Iranian ID card, or valid Iranian passport.

Iranian citizens born on June 18, 2003 or before can vote.

The 13th Presidential Election will be held simultaneously with the 6th Elections of the Cities, Villages and Moving Tribes, and the 1st Mid-Term Elections of the Iranian parliament and the 2nd Mid-Term Election of the 5th Leadership Experts Council elections.

In this round of the Presidential Elections the candidates include Saeed Jalili, Mohsen Rezaie Mirqaed, Seyyed Ebrahim Rais ul-Sadat (alias Raisi), Ali Reza Zakani, Seyyed Amid Hossein Qazizadeh Hashemi, Mohsen Mehralizadeh, and Abdul Nasser Hemmati.

In 2121 elections 59, 310,307 Iranians are entitled to vote, out of whom 1,392,148 voters will be voting for the first time.
