Iran’s Mirshafiei secures 2024 Paralympics berth

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian shooter Mohammadreza Mirshafiei secured his berth for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

Mirshafiei finished fourth in the P4 – Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 at the Al Ain 2022 World Championships on Monday and booked his place in the Paralympics.

Earlier, Nasrin Shahi from Iran had booked her place at the 2024 Paralympics by winning a silver medal at the P2 – women’s 10m air pistol SH1.

And also, after advancing to the final match Iranian national sitting volleyball team received the 2024 Paralympic quota in Paris.
