NOWSHAHR: The Commander of the Iranian Army’s Naval Forces, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, emphasized the navy’s commitment to ensuring Iran’s maritime authority and dignity through robust security efforts. Speaking at a ceremony at Imam Khomeini Naval University, Irani highlighted the significance of maritime security as a key component of Iran’s sea-oriented policies.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Rear Admiral Irani addressed students at the naval university, underscoring the global importance of maritime security, which is being actively pursued by Iran’s skilled sailors. He noted that Iran’s strategic naval force is prepared to operate across various domains to establish security and address threats in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Irani attributed the navy’s dedication to their Iranian-Islamic values, which are also inspired by the legacy of martyrs. He referenced the Supreme Leader’s remarks on Navy Day, emphasizing the importance of mobility and existence in naval operat
ions. The admiral urged students and officers to remain mindful of these principles as they develop into future leaders.
Highlighting the role of Imam Khomeini Naval University, Irani praised its contribution to producing instructors and professors, calling it a source of honor for the Islamic army. He reiterated that the navy’s achievements are closely linked to the university’s influence, as guided by the Supreme Leader’s directives.
