Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s national team of veteran and disabled athletes won 8 colorful medals at the Virtus Oceania Asia Games in Australia.
The Iranian athletes won four gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals at the games held in Brisbane, the capital city of Australia’s Queensland state.
Hassan Dehghani won silver in javelin throw, while Manouchehr Habibi gained bronze in the track and field event.
The Iranian team has now finished its competitions at the games that brought together intellectually impaired elite athletes from different countries on November 5-12.
