Iraq conducts a high-level coordination to mobilize international efforts to stand against practices that offend religious sanctities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, is conducting high-level coordination with his counterparts in the Arab, Islamic and European groups, as well as the Secretary-General of the United Nations, with the aim of mobilizing international efforts to stand against practices that offend religious sanctities.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “the Iraqi diplomatic track will take an upward turn to urge all parties to take their role by reviewing legislation and procedures that limit the recurrence of any act that provokes followers of religions and sanctities.”
