Baghdad, IRNA – The head of the National Conference for Feyli Kurds in Iraq praised Iran’s assistance in repelling ISIS.
Tariq al-Mandalawi said in statement issued on Tuesday that Iraqi people don’t forget that ISIS was taking over Iraqi cities and the people suffered from bloody crimes supported by the axis of evil – the US, Zionist, and Wahhabism.
The Iraqi people also remember the fraternal stances of leaders and people of Iran in providing arms and experiences and the Iranian martyrs who sacrificed in fighting ISIS, al-Mandalawi added.
He also said that Iraqi people wouldn’t forget all the people who stood beside them, including resistance groups and voluntary Muslim forces from Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Pakistan whose nationality didn’t prevent them from helping Iraqis.
He expressed hope that the victims of terrorism would be compensated, the terrorists would be brought to justice, and backers of those terrorists would be prosecuted in the international level.
